After watching the show and reading endless reviews, the general consensus seems to be that Amy is fake while the cop is real. People have blathered on that he should be embarrassed to work on this show and how he seems so legit compared to her. Wrong. He is stoked to be working on this show as it is the biggest acting gig he has ever landed. Yes, he is an actor. Imdb has his acting credits listed. While he may have been a cop in past years, his most recent focus is acting. That alone disproves the legitimacy in how the show is presented. This being an important fib via omission it makes the viewers wonder what other truths are being hidden. For example, the "cop" could very well tell the camera guy, her husband, what he found and then in turn he tells Amy. They also never state in the disclaimer that she doesn't use google. So they are not necessarily lying, just willingly leaving out basic truths on how the show operates.

I think its neat that some people experience spiritual phenomena. I haven't though because i guess I'm not in tune with those things and don't really have any belief in them. I want to believe that there are forces (spirits) among us that can somewhat interact with us. They may be personal or impersonal. But no one can convince me that we survive after death. Perhaps a strange form of energy passes on from our body after death, but certainly not our conscience mind with all our sensations and thoughts. If I'm wrong that would be cool, but i base my opinion off of my personal experience (or lack of) and scientific evidence towards human feelings, emotions, and sensations within the LIVING brain.

I agree with you! I'm sick of people telling me I have bad taste because I prefer this or that over something else. When I read reviews like this, I'm always struck by how very differently I interpret the book compared to the reviewer. Everyone has different life experiences that color how they read a book, and everyone is looking for something different from a book. In wine tasting, when you don't like a wine, you're supposed to say "I don't know this wine" or something similar so that you don't offend people who do like that wine, because everyone has different tastes. That said, you don't have to drink it. You can just pour it out. It's the same with books!

I did get my facts straight. Maybe you should learn to research. Odd to me that they would deny they were frauds if they had admitted it, as you claim, from the beginning. They were all exposed as frauds, and to this day some of them still try to deny it, even with proof on tape. Gee, do you think that in the time it takes to make a three minute post once every few weeks takes up a person's entire life? If that's true you must not have a life at all, going by the number of your posts. I am interested in the subject, I'm just not too keen on the fakes. If you can't handle opposing views you must live a very unhappy life, and maybe you should look into other "hobbies" before life passes YOU by.

And by the way, everyone knew Most Haunted was a joke. They even admitted numerous times that it was for entertainment and not to be taken seriously. O'Keefe didn't expose the whole team. He exposed Derek Acorah by feeding him wrong information which Acorah then supposedly got more details on. If you're doing to diss something, at least get the details straight. It'll make you look more informed and less fake yourself.

I do the very same thing, often picking up things Amy doesn't mention.

For instance, the haughty fine dressed woman haunting the mansion who supposedly left her first husband to marry the rich man who took good care of her crippled daughter while she was away flitting through Paris.

She killed her first husband so she could marry the rich guy thinking she could lead the rich guy around by the nose and have a fine life, and when she found out he had no interest in finery or travel, she went traveling the world without him, leaving him to care for her crippled child.

Now she's left to live in that mansion as penance for the life she lived; it's her "hell".

Now just because Amy didn't catch that psychically or didn't mention it doesn't mean she's not a psychic. It just means either the spirits didn't want to share that with her at that time or she chose not to share it with the watchers because there was no way it could be proven.
